A & A Automotive is a small, family-owned company established in 1998 in Mt. Holly, NC. With over 35 years of experience in automotive service and repair, A & A is a full-service auto repair shop providing all types of manufacturer's recommended services and repairs. Owner, Al Accipiter, is an ASE Certified Master Technician. In addition to manufacturer's recommended services, A & A also does oil changes, state inspections, tune-ups, rear-end and chassis work, timing belts, air-conditioning service, brake service, and sells tires. A & A Automotive does not work on European vehicles.

Al's Experience

Al has been working on cars since the 70's, taking a teenage hobby and turning it into a lifelong passion and career. Beginning in a taxi garage in Pennsylvania, Al then moved on to spend 10 years in the Coast Guard. After leaving the military and moving to Charlotte, Al opened a successful auto repair shop focused on fleets. When his family moved to Mt. Holly, Al worked at a dealership repair shop until opening A & A Automotive in 1998. He has been an ASE Certified Master Technician for over 25 years. Al spends his free time rebuilding classic cars and competiting in car shows, where he has won several awards.
